All information you need to know before attending a SomaPnevma Retreat


Can I come alone?

Of course! Many people come by themselves. But that gives you two options on accommodation; you can get your own private room or we can pair you up with a new friend in a twin bedroom setup. You may arrive not knowing anyone, but we can assure you that you will leave with many new friends.

Do I have to be a fitness expert to join?

No, not at all!  SomaPnevma is not about how fit you are but about having FUN! We aim for you to be fitter at the end compared to when you arrive and we cater for everyone; from people who want to train hard all week to guests who just want to join in the training that they wish to. We can be as hard of as soft as you like!

What is the minimum age?

You need to be 18 to attend a SomaPnevma Retreat but we do allow guests as young as 16 if accompanied by an adult in some cases. Majority of our guests are aged between 18 and 40 but we have had guests up to 60 who have a great time.


What is the food like?

In a word – delicious! Our chefs cook the finest of greek foods with as many whole foods and as little processed foods as possible. From salads, lean meats, seafood, rices, spices and amazing flavours; everything is fresh and prepared fresh daily. Have a special request? We will aim to meet it. Vegetarians are also catered for.

Travel Insurance

It is your responsibility to organize suitable travel and health insurance. Although we strongly encourage you to do so, you acknowledge that SomaPnevma Retreats is not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.

Visa Information

A valid passport is required to enter and depart Greece. Passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure. No visas or vaccines are required.

Currency information

The currency is Euro. You can use foreign credit & debit cards but it is preferable to have a certain amount of cash with you. There are currency exchange kiosks in airports, main ports and city centers.

What should I bring?

You should bring athletic clothes and athletic shoes depending on the fitness activity of the retreat. Depending on the seasonality, please adjust your clothes. From April to September please have your sunglasses, sunscreen and bathing suit. You might also want to bring a camera, your favorite book and do not forget your positive vibes :-)


Arrival information

Arrival time at the retreat is 3pm on the first day of the retreat, and the last day, you should leave the retreat at 11am.

Can you help me organize my pre/post holidays in Greece?

Yes of course, but please inform us ahead of time. We can advice you on your holidays in Greece with our travel consultants. Please contact us in advance.

What is prohibited on the retreat?

Please note that all kind of drugs are not allowed on the retreat. However smoking cigarettes is allowed. Please note that although alcohol is not offered during the retreat, you can bring your own bottle, but please take into consideration that there is a strict quiet time after 10pm since most of our guest wish to relax and sleep after all these fitness activities!

Accommodation and Transport

You should organize your flights and arrive at the meeting place on time. Transport from the airport or port is offered according to availability.
